Description:
The online editor collects and manages editorial content, recruits & hires writers, and specifies new content applications to ensure that SIGNINDUSTRY.com becomes a day-to-day business tool for the sign industry.
Responsibilities:
- Increasing repeat user traffic and member generated content.
- Ensuring that SIGNINDUSTRY.COM is consistently ranked highly in top search engines.
- Providing editorial content that supports the community's product and service focus.
- Ensuring the accuracy of database & buyers guide classification.
- Identifying potential content/editorial partners.
- Working with the technical director to ensure continuous improvement to the online community through new application development.
- Responding to user's sign-related questions.
- Participating in and monitoring online discussion forums. This includes recruiting forum moderators.
- Maintaining the industry calendar of events.
- Attending key industry trade shows.

Description:
The Online Sales Manager will be in charge of building a strong ad sales department. This position will play an integral role with both advertisers and users of the SIGNINDUSTRY.com site. Great personal skills, strong sales background, solid understanding of the online world, and resource scheduling will be critical skills for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Handling online sales from a hands-on standpoint (i.e. managing several key accounts)
- Recruiting other ad sales professionals
- Setting benchmarks for the sales department

- Conducting performance evaluations for ad sale representatives

Description:
SIGINDUSTRY.com seeks several seasoned staff and freelance writers. Ideally, we are looking for several prolific writers with several years of writing experience to cover the visual communications industry. Applicants should have at least two to four years' experience writing for magazines, or reporting for a newspaper. The successful candidate must be detailed oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be able to interface with all levels of management. A college degree (English, Communications, Journalism) is preferred. These positions are located in our Orlando, FL or from your home-based office anywhere within the U.S. (your choice).
Skills Required:
- Must be an effective generalist able to apply effective communications skills in a wide variety of settings.
- Proven ability to build an image of a responsible corporate citizen within the visual communications market place.
