![]() varnish over vinyl
Posted by: leonardcormack (---.onspeed.com)
Date: August 13, 2007 05:53PM quite simply - I need to apply a varnish or lacquer over some cast laminated vinyl but I am worried that it might not be compatible and will peel off or crack. I have to varnish areas of the sign adjacent to the vinyl areas and masking these off would prove to be too tricky so I need a varnish that will stick well to both the vinyl and the hand-painted areas (painted with acrylic emulsion). So - does any one know of a varnish that adheres to vinyl? I have read that some acrylic varnishes do ---- any suggestions? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
