'Ground' for billboards
Posted by: Patricia Cook (---.proxy.aol.com)

I'm asking for help, & I know nothing about this industry so I appolgize for not knowing the correct terminology, but here goes:
I have land in the heart of New Mexico located directly on US Hwy 54/70 with other major hwy connections, zoned commercial. I was told it would be a prime billboard location. I don't even know where to start to see if this is the case. Do sign companies lease their ground or prefer to purchase it?
I would very much appreciate any info anyone can give me or at least set me in the direction to find info.
Thanking you in advance, Pat
