Hanging MDO Sign

Hello All,

I've created an oval sign from 3/4" MDO glued and screwed together, so what we have is 46" x 31" x 1.5" sign. It weighs about 35lbs. I need to mount it to an existing scroll bracket that has eye hooks and is mounted to the building.

Installation is not my greatest asset. I am looking for the best way to mount the hardware to the sign. I have seen eye hooks screwed in from the top but I am leary of doing it this way. I'm afraid they will pull out. Is a bracket with bolts coming in from the face the safest way, even though the brackets take away from the layout?

I've been creating signs for years and am a little embarrased to ask these questions, BUT, it's better than having the sign fall. Thanks in advance...

KPG
