Dissapearing mags

What is everyones policy on replacing mags that "blow off" I've only had this problem twice in 10 years. I think the guys are just trying to get something for nothing.

If you are talking about magnetic car signs, We had a guy's signs come off a couple of times and he had to pay for them. If it continues I'd try to get him to come in with his car to see where he's putting them and why they're coming off. If there is no reason that you can see why they would be coming off, then I'd say he's trying to pull a fast one.

Cagenut Zinc,

I agree with Spinner. I had a customer with the same problem. He told us the measurements that would fit, after we asked him to bring in the truck so we could measure it out. He bought 2 sets of magnets. Within 3 days came back with one magnet totally tore / destroyed. He said we had to cover the cost and make him a new one. He brought in the truck, he was covering the most part of the door and over the plastic door strip. It was creating a huge gap that was allowing air to get behind it and blow them off. I told him we would not cover the cost of replacement but he could purchase a new one.
We measure all trucks / cars for magnets so that the magnet will be on the steel only. If they bring in the measurements, buyer beware, but we tell them what we recommend. We have been in business 8 years and only 1 customer problem with magnet. Just a heads up, double check all doors anymore, we have been running into newer cars with pvc doors, double check...

Good Luck,
Jamie Walters
