I use a Roland GX-500 through Illustrator and a CutStudio Plugin. On large files, the cutter does not respond properly. After sending to the cutter from CutStudio, the machine feeds material, then the head goes all the way to the left and just taps up and down at the same spot. The only thing I can do is chop the file into smaller segments, which is ok for text, but impossible for graphics. Has anyone encountered this, or have any advice?
