![]() Applying Vinyl to Aluminum
Posted by: froglegs007 (---.ok.ok.cox.net)
Date: April 28, 2008 06:12PM I am sure this is very elementary, but I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. I do a lot of work for Realtors and builders, and I always avoid using aluminum because I hate it. Well, now I have to use it (and a lot of it) for an order, and I am stressing. I cannot get my vinyl to apply to the aluminum without a lot of bubbles and it is driving me crazy. I have tried several different types of squeegees, and I tried wet application, still no luck. Any help would be appreciated...is it my squeegee, or my technique, or both?? Re: Applying Vinyl to Aluminum

Date: May 27, 2008 02:43PM Use the vertical hinge method and start with your squeegee from center to end, holding the graphic away from the substrate, letting the squeegee apply it to the aluminum. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
