United Franchise Group (UFG) is the umbrella company to a successful group of the world’s largest franchise systems specializing in personalized business services including signage, embroidery, event planning, energy efficient products, business brokerage, franchise consulting, and franchise development. The UFG corporate headquarters, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, controls operations for approximately 150 employees in the United States and Australia and offers support to the franchisee’s around the world.



UFG is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant to support franchisees with valuable business coaching, training and development. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise and business acumen to help develop the entrepreneur by demonstrating proven financial strategies, marketing and sales techniques, and ultimately providing a foundation upon which the business can grow. Responsibilities include: Examining P&L statements, establishing marketing campaigns, developing sales strategies, structuring accounting and financial systems, collecting and reporting monthly franchisee sales volume data; implementing franchisee store Startup Program; managing quarterly focused store programs; training and reinforcing the franchise model and safe operation of production equipment; consulting with franchisees to ascertain and define needs; compiling brand compliance data; assisting franchisees with increasing brand image; planning regional meetings; completing, maintaining, and processing required paperwork; maintaining a daily and weekly schedule; visiting all stores within assigned territories; and travelling 60 - 70% in and outside region.

Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Sales and business operations experience and the ability to read a Profit and Loss statement is required. Ability to read and interpret documents, operate and maintain instructions and procedural manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups, calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages is required. Microsoft Office, graphic design software, point-of-sale (POS) software, and accounting software is required. Eligible Driver's License and valid automobile insurance is also required. Strong background in related industry and specific production techniques and promotional product knowledge is preferred. Must be able to travel an average of 50%-60% of the time, maintain a credit card with an available credit limit to cover reimbursable business travel expenses, and reliable transportation is a must.
