Looking at laminators and I came across a Daige wet laminator. $795.....and it seems in reading that this would be a lot easier than a regular laminator.

Of coarse I've been around long enough to know what seems easy may not be.....

What about drying time? And do you have enough space to lay out several large prints while they dry? How would you control dust? 62" film laminators still offer the best protection in my book. Especially when you consider roll to roll capability. I wouldn't mess around with a novelty such as this. Not when you have customers depending on you for consistent timely results.

the daige site says dry time is 15-25 minutes.....

Plus they have a 38" model which would be perfect for me as my Roland printer is a 30".....

I really don't think I'd be laminating all that often and laying out $575 for the 38" wet laminator seems better than more than double for a regular one...

I may be crazy though....ha ha

I've done some reading and I think for my application.....very small one man operation the liquid laminator will work really good.....I think I'm going to buy the Daige 38" for $575 and see how it goes......Lord knows I've blown $600 on way more stupid things in my life....ha ha!
