"Conformity makes everything easier, if you can still breathe."
--- Mason Cooley
Years ago, there was a man here in Florida by the name of Glenn Turner. It has been said that he turned $5,000 to $300 million in five years. He was indeed very wealthy. He was later jailed on some pyramiding charges. Aside from his past, his message that inspired millions is relevant today: "Dare To Be Great!"
Those four words can turn people into individuals who don't conform, but who think outside, around, and in between the box. These are the folks who take their businesses to heights that others can only dream of.
"No matter who says what, you should accept it with a smile and do your own work."
--- Mother Teresa
You may have heard the story of the old man and young boy walking across the mountains in Columbia. As they moved from town to town, they heard various comments. When the old man was riding the donkey, people would say, "how rude of that man to ride the donkey while the boy walks." The old man and boy heard this and soon the boy was riding the donkey. Later, they heard, "the boy should let the old man ride the donkey." So, they decided neither would ride.
Then, they overheard, "what fools, walking when they have a good donkey to ride." They both got up on the donkey and later heard, "how cruel to put such a load on that animal." Finally, the boy and the old man carried the donkey over their heads. They came to a river and lost their grips on the donkey and it drowned. The moral: If you let others dictate how you should go through life, you may as well kiss your ass goodbye.
"Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth."
--- John Fitzgerald Kennedy
When you cut your own path, you're usually thought of as weird or someone who just doesn't understand business. But, take a look back in time at all of the great businesses created and notice how they didn't keep to the beaten path. Look at people like Fred Smith who started Federal Express, Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines, and of course, Bill Gates, Microsoft. These are pioneers in their fields and all ignored the naysayers.
"If you're a car salesman, and someone says "This is a terrible car, I'm not buying it," it doesn't mean they hate you. They just don't like your product. I think that's a mistake a lot of people in show business make.. they're so tied to their act they take everything personally."
--- Jay Leno
Your business is an extension of you. It is difficult to not take a complaint or criticism regarding your company to heart. But try to remember this: some criticism may be constructive and worth listening to, some is not. Learn the difference and your business will never stop growing.
"When I was on my way to the podium a gentleman stopped me and said I was as good a politician as I was an actor. What a cheap shot."
--- Arnold Schwarzenegger

By Johnny Shell
Rendering intents, another key component of a Color Management System, are ways of dealing with colors that are out-of-gamut colors present in the source space that our destination space or output device is incapable of producing. We'll aim to help you wrap you thoughts around this theory.
