Gerber Appoints Augusto Francia To International Sales Manager Latin America
SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. Gerber Scientific Products has named Augusto “Gus” Francia to the position of International Sales Manager Latin America, responsible for the sale of all Gerber sign making and specialty graphics products in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.
Previously international sales manager with Arlon Adhesive and Film Division, Santa Ana, Calif., where he built annual sales from $500,000 to $6 million in six years, Francia brings nearly two decades of international sales management experience to his new position. He has held multiple executive posts, including president of Conservamar S.A., Puerto Montt, Chile; operations supervisor at Western Transit System Inc., Anaheim, Calif.; and various capacities at Compania Nacional de Cerveza S.A., Callao, Peru.

His extensive experience and outstanding cross-cultural interpersonal capabilities make him a valuable addition to our international management team.”
Francia holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Garcilazo de la Vega, Lima, Peru, and earned a master’s in marketing from National University San Diego, Calif. He speaks four languages: Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.
