Sign Guard

A patent was issued last year for Sign Guard. Sign Guard solves two significant problems that have been associated with these popular Changeable Copy Signs Systems.

The first problem is SECURITY for the displayed message. An inherent feature of changeable copy signs is that the owner can easily change the message, but therein also lies the problem. Also, without sign system security, letters could readily disappear from the sign vandals. Those wishing to deface the sign can also freely change the letters in the sign, altering the intended message. Short of an expensive, lockable cabinet, these letter sign systems lack a positive means of providing integrity to the displayed message.

CLEANLINESS is the second problem solved by Sign Guard. Road dirt, in a short amount of time, leaves these sign letters and track in an unattractive presentation for the intended audience.

The uniqueness of this Sign Guard innovation is in the design of the protective, lockable cover that is positioned in front of the standard changeable copy letters. Sign Guard is built around a new track design, but accepts industry-standard letters. This feature allows for retrofit of existing systems already in the field, as well as new installations.
