ISA Announces Winners Of 2002 Sign Design Competition
Alexandria, Va. (January 22, 2002) The International Sign Association (ISA) announced today the winners of its annual Sign Design Contest.
"This year's contest featured some of the most creative, technologically advanced, and colorful entries ever," stated ISA President and CEO John Johnson. "I'm always so impressed by the quality of the work our members put forth and I'm proud to have them among our ranks."
ISA added a new component to the Sign Design Contest this year, a Junior Division for students enrolled in vocational, technical or high schools or community colleges or universities. Participants secured sponsorship from an ISA member and submitted an illustration or computer generated artwork.
According to ISA Education Manager Patricia Hayden, interest in the first junior division was good and the entries showed great promise. "I was impressed by their work and really look forward to having some of these people in the sign industry in the next few years," said Hayden.
