Océ Display Graphics Systems Shows Flatbed Technology Output at DPI Conference
Solvent-Based Outdoor System to be Available in Summer 2002
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Mar. 7, 2002 ? At the Océ Display Graphics Systems booth
#233 at the DPI conference, samples from the company's new flatbed printing
technology will be on display. The samples were generated on the new Océ
Arizona T220, which is expected to be available for order in the summer of 2002.
The Océ Arizona T220 is a solvent-based ink jet printer that uses piezo printing
technology. It can print directly onto rigid and flexible substrates up to 62"
wide x 120" long x 2" thick (157.7 cm W x 304.8 cm L x 5.1 cm T). It is a
six-color unit, with 4 print heads per color. In four-pass mode, print speeds
are up to 225 square feet (20.9 square meters) per hour; and in two-pass mode,
print speeds are up to 400 square feet (37.2 square meters) per hour.
The Océ Arizona T220 will make its debut in the Océ Display Graphics Systems
booth #214 at the International Sign Expo 2002, April 4-6, at the Orange County
Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Pricing information will be released at
that time.
