Océ LightJet® Wide Format Photo Printers Continue Award-Winning Legacy at PMA 2002

New Océ LightJet 500XL and Océ LightJet 430 Win DIMA Shoot-Outs

SAN JOSE, Calif., Mar. 20, 2002 -- For the sixth year in a row, Océ LightJet products have won the DIMA Shoot-Out at PMA 2002, in the wide format Photo Printer category. This year, two Océ LightJet printers received Shoot-Out honors: LightJet 500XL for Photo Printer (52" and Wider) , and LightJet 430 for Photo Printer (36" to 51" Wide).

Since 1997, Océ LightJet wide format printers have won the DIMA Shoot-Out for its category, which pits competing products -- using similar digital printing technology -- directly against each other. Winners are chosen by DIMA (Digital Imaging Marketing Association, part of PMA) members prior to the annual PMA (Photo Marketing Association) trade show and convention. The 2002 winning prints were chosen from more than 80 entries from 33 companies at the recent PMA 2002 trade show in Orlando, Florida.

Océ LightJet models have won more honors for quality than any other wide format photo printer, including DIMA Shoot-Out at PMA in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 (two wins); DPI Product of the Year in 1996, 2001; Cool-2 Award in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000; COMFOT Mexico Shoot-Out in 2001; and Photographic Processing Top Product in 2001.
