Sussenguth Recieves International Sign Association’s Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award
April 8, 2002 (Alexandria, VA) Jerry Sussenguth, former Chairman of the Board of the International Sign Association (ISA), was presented the Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award during the general session of the recent International Sign Expo in Orlando, Fla, April 4-6, 2002.
"Jerry's vision and tenacity has contributed significantly to the present success of our association," stated ISA Chairman of the Board Steve Kieffer. "His dedication, wisdom, and expertise have been valuable assets to the ISA board of directors."
The Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award is an annual award given to an ISA member who demonstrates outstanding dedication and service to the association.
Sussenguth served on the ISA Board of Directors from 1992 until 2000, and as Chairman of the Board in 1999. He participated in the Canadian Sign Council and was a director of the Manitoba Sign Association, as well as past president of the Northwest Sign Council.
Sussenguth recently retired as Vice President and General Manager, Western Region, of The Jim Pattison Sign Group in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where he spent more than 30 years. He currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
