ISA Announces 2003 Officers
Alexandria, VA. (April 25, 2002) The International Sign Association (ISA) announced today the 2003 slate of officers. Bob Wallace, president, Graphic Systems, Inc., has been named ISA’s 2003 chairman, Greg McCarter, COO, Tubelite Company, Inc., has been named vice chairman, and Ebbie Phillips has been named secretary and treasurer, beginning in 2003.
“These industry leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the ISA Executive Committee," said 2002 Chairman Stephen Kieffer, chairman and CEO, Kieffer and Co., Inc. "As we continue our focus on new strategic objectives, their level of commitment, expertise, and leadership will propel ISA forward.”
Wallace has been a member of the ISA Board of Directors since 1998 and currently serves as the association's vice chairman. McCarter has been a member of the ISA Board since 1997, most recently representing the sign supply distributors division. He currently serves as secretary/treasurer. Phillips served on the Board from 1986 until 1991, serving as Chairman of the Board in 1991, and was reelected to the Board in 1997. He currently represents the past chairman’s division.
ISA President and CEO John Johnson echoed Kieffer’s sentiments. “I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most powerful voices in the sign industry. The ISA Board is stronger than ever, and will continue to represent the industry in the best possible capacity," stated Johnson.
ISA is a 7,000 member organization composed of manufacturers, users, and suppliers of on-premise signs and sign products produced by more than 250,0000 employees in all 50 states and 69 foreign countries. ISA exists to support, promote and improve the $30 billion-a-year sign industry, which sustains the nation’s nearly $3 trillion-a-year retail industry.
