ADAPTIVE® Announces Major Addition to Outdoor LED Product Family —

(Milwaukee, Wisconsin) - Adaptive Micro Systems, Inc., (ADAPTIVE) today introduced a major new addition to its outdoor LED product family — the AlphaEclipse™ 2500 and 2600 family of products.

The latest release in Adaptive's growing outdoor family of products, the AlphaEclipse™ 2500 and 2600 Outdoor LED message centers will display 2 to 13 lines of information, with character heights from 2.25 inches to 19.25 inches, dependent upon model type.

The Eclipse 2500 series replaces the popular Solar™ series of products and offers many more features and functions; front-serviceable case design, wireless control, more memory, faster installation design features, and improved visibility. This product is based upon customer feedback indicating that the market wanted more sizes and lines. The individual LEDs are on a .45 inch pitch, with array sizes from 96 columns by 16 rows to 192 columns by 80 rows. Red and amber 30 degree lamps are standard, 70 degree lamps are not required due to the close LED pitch.

The Eclipse 2600 series offers the same array matrices of 96 x16 up to 192 x 80, with a slightly larger pitch of .6-inch. The primary intent of this size product is to offer the market a 4, 6, and 9.6-inch dynamic/electronic character as a direct replacement for 4, 6, and 8-inch static characters for manually changeable letter-boards. Red and amber LED colors are available for both series of products. Popular applications may include:
