AMT Corporation Hosts Preview Of New Scanvec Amiable™ Enroute 3™ Technology

(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.) ­ Adam Sebran, Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Consultant and President of Advanced Machine Tool Corporation (AMT), hosted a two day preview launch of Scanvec Amiable EnRoute3™ engraving, routing and machining software at the company’s 4,000 square foot MultiCam Technology Center in Suwanee, Ga. During the event, attendees from Southeastern woodworking, machining and sign shops observed demonstrations and participated in hands-on application of the newest Scanvec Amiable software that increases speed and accuracy when used with today’s 32-bit operating systems.

New EnRoute 3 uses an entirely new toolpath creation engine and toolpath verification simulations to conquer complicated designs and large files. When added to the program’s new 2 D and 2.5 D toolpath algorithms and true shape nesting, designs that previously required 20 minutes to process now take less than 20 seconds with EnRoute 3.

Additional features of the new software include a customizable user interface, an automatic pyramid feature for creating beveled objects, and multi-layer design viewing capabilities to fit the designers’ needs. EnRoute 3 also eliminates the need for a separate CAD program because the program contains an array of CAD tools including drawing tools, vectorizing, point editing, alignment, weld and multi-copy tools.
