New Software Release for XSN Content Manager - Digital Signage Solution.

ATLANTA, GA, August 05, 2002 ­ Xstream Solutions, Inc. today released version 3.0 of its acclaimed content management software for digital signage networks. The new release delivers unique and important features that allow Xstream Signage Network sites to integrate and manage the content resources for display on XSN Players. For users, version 3.0 offers numerous enhancements that make many of the content management functionalities easier to use and more accessible. The new features and enhancements in the XSN Content Manager version 3.0 comprise what Xstream Solutions President & CEO, Dan Farmer called "our best enterprise Digital Signage Solution software release since our first Xstream Signage Network software in 2000."

A centerpiece of the new Xstream software is a feature called Grouping Maintenance, which gives users the ability to combine multiple XSN players and simultaneously and automatically update and remove content and play list from the Group level instead of the player level. These enhancements provide for easier content maintenance for developing content across your entire digital signage network.

Integration of XSN Content Manager with current XSN Players
In addition to the Grouping Maintenance features that integrate content under the current application, XSN Content Manager 3.0 delivers enhancements that integrate both earlier versions of the XSN Players with the new release. Introduced in 2000, the XSN Player allows a Xstream Signage Network customer to display advertisements and messaging on plasma screens, LCD screens or TV screens which can be installed in any location where the customer wants to communicate with particular audiences. The XSN Player displays static, animation or video ads configured by the customer to display at different intervals throughout the day. This allows the customer to target different advertisements to different demographics throughout their organization. Several new customization options in version 3.0 make the software easier for site administrators to implement, and more functional and intuitive for users.
