Philadelphia, Pa., September 5, 2002 ­ Scanvec Amiable has added a new reseller to its professional graphics manufacturing solutions distribution network. The new addition, Tubelite Company will distribute all of Scanvec Amiable software solutions through their nine domestic locations located out the US. Tubelite is headquartered in Moonachie, NJ, with locations in Orlando, Fl; Miami, Fl; Moonachie, NJ; Columbus, OH; San Leandro, Ca; Memphis, TN; Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte, NC; and Indianapolis, IN. The nine domestic Tubelite locations provide Scanvec Amiable with an even stronger, countywide presence and major distributor influence in the professional graphics manufacturing industry. Tubelite traces its history back to the 1920s. Samuel C. Miller, an engineer and inventor, started Tube Light Engineering Company on the West Side of Manhattan in New York City to manufacture electrodes for neon signs. Mr. Miller received patents for his inventions of housings and porcelain insulators used with neon tubes. After World War II, Mr. Miller formed a partnership with Edward R. Samuels and Lewis M.
