SOLJET Printing Costs Drop By 38 Percent

Irvine, CA. October 1, 2002 Roland DGA Corporation today announced that SOLJET printing costs have dropped by 38 percent thanks to lower SOL INK prices. SOL INK - the unique, low-volatile solvent ink used by SOLJET printers and printer/cutters - now lists at $74.99 per cartridge.

"Thanks to the tremendous popularity and increased supplies of SOL INK, Roland was able to make it even more cost efficient for signmakers to print SOLJET graphics," said Laura Wilson, Roland Product Manager. "It now costs dramatically less to produce a wide variety of graphics, including outdoor signs and banners. SOLJET PRO II production costs, for example, have plunged from 43 to 27 cents per sqft."

Available in CMYKcm, SOL INK enables signmakers to produce durable solvent graphics without any need for special ventilation or environmental equipment. In a non-toxic printing environment, signmakers can produce signs, banners and exhibits that last up to three years outdoors. * SOL INK is water and UV resistant.
