Intelicoat Magic® Brand Introduces New Highly Textured 100 Percent Cotton Matte UV Ink Artist Stretch Canvas
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass, October 15, 2002 InteliCoat announced today the introduction of the Magic® brand DMCVM20UV, a new acid-free, highly textured, matte finish, 100 percent cotton artist stretch canvas designed for pigmented printer systems.
Created for long-term, fade-resistant fine art and photo reproductions, the new 20-mil Magic DMCVM20UV canvas features a deep-tooth, heavyweight matte canvas with a specially designed coating that delivers superior color gamut and resolution. A key feature of InteliCoat’s Magic DMCVM20UV is the rough, irregular surface characteristic of artist canvas for brush painting. The added bonus is water- and fade- resistance when printed with UV inks.

The Magic DMCVM20UV is compatible with Encad NovaJet®/ Pro/Proe, ColorSpan® Displaymakers, Hewlett-Packard DesignJet® 1000/2000/3000/4000/5000, and most water-based piezo printers. ICC color profiles for selected RIP, ink and printer combinations are available at www.magicinkjet.com.
For those who prefer an ink jet canvas with a smoother surface, Magic DMCVM17UV artist stretch canvas is the solution. And, for a highly textured, glossy surface compatible with dye inks, Magic DMCVH20 is the solution and is now available at a comparable price to new DMCVM20UV.
