FLEXcon's New Carpet Graphics System

FLEXcon introduces a new Carpet Graphics System, the newest addition to their floor graphics product line and the most comprehensive line in the industry. This system is designed for indoor use on low-pile commercial carpets, making it ideal for advertising in department stores, restaurants, and other retail advertising applications. FLEXcon's Carpet Graphics System meets industry safety standards for non-slip performance (ASTM D 2047), ensuring a safe walking surface.

This new system consists of a base film and an overlaminate. FLEXmark V 400 F White Opaque A-120 90 PFW is a 4 mil flexible white opaque base film which provides excellent cover-up and whiteness when applied over various colored carpets. It resists tearing and abrasion, and offers excellent printability with UV and solvent screen inks and solvent inkjet printing methods. This base film is coated with A-120, a permanent/removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. This aggressive adhesive ensures the graphic will remain intact for the life of the promotion (6 months) and still be cleanly removable afterwards. The base film is backed with 90 PFW, a 90 lb. polycoated moisture-stable layflat release liner.

The FLEXmark OV 650 R Clear Velvet V-29 42 White PP-8 is a 6.5 mil rigid clear velvet embossed overlaminating vinyl that protects the printed graphic and provides a clear velvet finish. The thickness of the vinyl and it's embossed finish work very well together to minimize the wrinkling effects when applied to a carpeted surface. This overlaminate is coated with V-29, a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive that offers good clarity and is designed to provide a good bond and excellent shear, which is critical for durability under heavy foot traffic. The overlaminating vinyl is backed with a 42 lb. polycoated white kraft release liner.
