The Choice for Mounting Graphics Just Became Clear: Introducing MACtac® PermaPrint® IP5500 Translucent Mounting Adhesive

Stow, OH ­ Fall 2002 ­ Imaging industries now have a new choice in pressure sensitive mounting products ­ PermaPrint® IP5500 translucent mounting adhesive from MACtac®. Designed for mounting graphic images, IP5500 consists of a thin, semi-transparent plastic film coated on both sides with an aggressive acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The adhesive allows for smooth, quick and easy adhesion of photographic and printed images to a variety of mounting surfaces, including Fome-Cor®, Gatorfoam®, Crescent® board, Masonite® and Sintra®.

The addition of a semi-transparent mounting film to the PermaPrint line creates more versatility for finishing. The new IP5500 and its improved counterpart, IP5000 ­ a white, opaque mounting adhesive ­ feature white moisture-stable, polycoated kraft liners.

IP5500 and all PermaPrint products are part of MACtac’s Permacolor® line of mounting and overlaminating films for the imaging industries. Permacolor mounting films are ideal for use with photographic, ink jet, electrostatic, lithographic and screen-printed images.
