Roland Moves to Larger Facility

Irvine, CA. December 3, 2002 -- Roland DGA Corporation today announced plans to move its offices less than a mile up the road to 15363 Barranca Parkway in Irvine CA on January 2, 2003. The new facility features an improved showroom, a bigger warehouse, a 4500 square foot training center and upgraded telecommunications equipment.

"Due to Roland's success over the past 10 years, we have simply outgrown our current building," said Bob Curtis, Roland President and CEO. "I'm proud of how far we've come, and I think this move will give us a chance to grow even more in the years to come. Everyone at Roland is very excited about the new accommodations."

The new showroom features every Roland product family. In sectioned off areas, Roland staff can easily demonstrate the latest technologies, from printing fine art giclées to milling 3D rapid prototypes. The building also displays a wide variety of Roland sample output.

Previously divided into two separate buildings, the warehouse now offers significantly more total space. All in one efficient floor plan, it now has a convenient will-call area and four sunken docks for shipping and receiving. "In Roland's new warehouse, trucks won't have to wait anymore," said Ron Kienast, Roland Distribution Center Manager.

The new training facility offers enough room for Roland staff to provide customers and dealers with hands-on training. For the first time ever, Roland University now includes classes on Roland 3D and engraving devices, as well as inkjet and thermal transfer equipment.
