MACal® 9700 PRO “Clearly” the Best for Backlit Signage and Awnings: MACtac® offers a new, improved translucent film

Stow, OH ­ Fall 2002 ­ Specifically designed for backlit, canopy and awning applications, MACal® 9700 PRO is a translucent, high-performance five to seven year outdoor film that combines high performance with end-user value. It features an improved dry and easily repositionable adhesive that has a slow initial set. MACal 9700 PRO prevents hot spots and streaks, providing a uniform look while maintaining the luminescent vibrancy of an application’s color. The new product also features roll-to-roll color uniformity and excellent night-and-day consistency.

The face of the film is a matte-finish 3 mil cadmium-free vinyl and is coated with a durable permanent acrylic adhesive with excellent wet out characteristics for clarity. An 86# white Kraft liner offers stability and layflat, and has been redesigned for improved cutting and weeding characteristics.
