American Visionwear, L.L.C. has introduced its Optical Tape Measure™
American Visionwear, L.L.C. has introduced its Optical Tape Measure™, a unique measuring instrument that can measure distances that no other device can. Using its precision optics, the user can measure distances (up to 100 feet) to any object in sight. Measurements can be taken, therefore, across obstacles like highways and rivers, up and down objects like towers and poles and through mist, rain and, even, glass. Ideally suited for the sign industry, it will allow the user to quickly and easily determine material requirements, type of erection equipment, clearances and conformance to ordinance-all without leaving the ground. Unlike acoustical or laser instruments, it doesn’t require batteries or depend on reflective surfaces, and accommodates hand tremor.
The Optical Tape Measure™ is manufactured at American Visionwear’s 12,500 square foot facility at 6812 Fairgrounds Parkway in San Antonio, Texas.
