JAX, Inc. Introduces State-of-the-Art X-TEX™ One-Way Imaging as the Latest Resource for Unique Signage or Company Identification

JAX, Inc. offers patented X-TEX™ one-way imaging window film available immediately as the leading-edge technology to identify companies and buildings by utilizing existing glass or storefront windows. This unique product presents a clear, striking graphic from the outside that is completely invisible from the inside.

X-TEX™ one-way imaging allows glass to become the medium for spectacular new signage. As an example, JAX is completing a project for the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome. A larger-than-life rendition of da Vinci’s Proportions of the Human Figure (Vitruvian Man) is being applied to the exterior glass of the airport, representing the building’s namesake.

Unlike similar perforated vinyl products available on the market that often provide a hazy view, X-TEX™ offers building occupants completely unobstructed visibility from the non-image side. The product aids in protecting interiors by filtering out over 99% of UV rays as well as providing superior heat rejection for energy efficiency. Warranted for seven years indoors and three years outdoors, the product enhances safety by holding together shattered glass.

The window film is a 2-mil PET coated with a multi-layer, thin-film application of metals and dielectrics. Key installation features include a standard, pressure-sensitive acrylic-based window film adhesive and 1-mil release liner. To aid in longevity of external applications, the film is provided with a 2-mil UV-and scratch-resistant hard-coat PET overlaminate. Available in numerous base colors with the potential for virtually any graphics, X-TEX™ film is attuned to reflect light. Therefore, maximum light exposure will result in brighter images.
