INTELICOAT TECHNOLOGIES INTRODUCES NEW MAGIC® FLOOR GRAPHIC SYSTEM FOR THERMAL AND PIEZO INK JET PRINTERS

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass, January 21, 2003 ­ InteliCoat Technologies, a world leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for imaging and electronic technologies, today announced the availability of the new Magic® DMFGV5 thermal and piezo ink jet-printable floor graphic system. The system features a PSA vinyl matched with a choice of either a clear or textured vinyl slip-resistant overlaminate. The new Magic DMFGV5 product is ideal for creating ink jet floor graphics for indoor point-of-purchase, brand or product marketing in retail environments such as grocery stores, department stores and discount stores.

The adhesive-backed, printable vinyl is designed for use on a variety of commercial floor surfaces. The matching overlaminate is available in either a 4-mil clear (Magic DMFGOC) or 6.4 mil textured (Magic DMFGOT) option, and is designed to meet industry safety standards for non-slip performance (ASTM D 2047 and ASTM E 303). DMFGV5 is formulated for use with a wide range of ink jet printers, including the HP5000®, Encad®, ColorSpan®, water-based piezo printers and the Xerox X2.
