INTELICOAT EXPANDS LINE OF THERMAL INK JET-COMPATIBLE WALLCOVERING MEDIA WITH NEW MAGIC® BRAND MURAL PRO
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass., January 21, 2003 InteliCoat Technologies, a world leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for imaging and electronic technologies, today introduced Magic® Mural Pro, a latex-based, ink jet wallcovering media ideal for residential, hospitality, commercial and retail design.
The latest addition to Magic’s digital wallcovering media, Mural Pro offers excellent image quality and limited wet expansion, while providing for superior interior design and art applications at a low cost.
“Mural Pro is a cost-effective, adhesive-free alternative to adhesive-backed vinyl for in-store environmental graphics, and affords endless opportunities in interior design as well as art reproduction and restoration,” said InteliCoat Product Manager Ed McCarron. “Digitally printed wall coverings transcend traditional wallpaper by allowing designers the creativity to customize each assignment.”
After an image is selected and formatted, Mural Pro is printed in panels with ink jet printers and installed to interior walls using standard wallpaper pastes. Mural Pro is compatible with pigmented inks on most Hewlett-Packard, Encad and ColorSpan printers and meets ASTM 798 standards for commercial wallcoverings.
