INTELICOAT TECHNOLOGIES INTRODUCES NEW POLYCARBONATE FILM DESIGNED FOR PORTABLE TRADE SHOW GRAPHICS
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass., January 21, 2003 ? InteliCoat Technologies announced today the availability of a new Magic® brand polycarbonate film product, TSG-12. Specifically designed for use in trade show graphic applications, the 12-mil polycarbonate film offers outstanding image quality and durability along with excellent adhesion to the Magic DMWVA10 white vinyl backer, even after being rolled and unrolled for transport.
Imaging on the TSG-12 film is performed in reverse so that graphics are protected by the white vinyl backer on one side and the polycarbonate on the other. Optimized for rigid translucent frontlit or backlit displays, TSG-12’s polished viewing surface delivers high color gamut while allowing for low-glare viewing, even when displayed under trade show lighting.
“Trade show graphics represent a very specialized application, one that poses a number of challenges, and we designed the TSG-12 with those challenges in mind,” said Dan Halkyard, marketing director for display products at InteliCoat Technologies. “We consider it very important to provide a product that minimizes problems associated with transportability, re-usability, handling and viewing of trade show graphics.
