Roland Expands SOLJET Media Lineup & Lowers Prices

Irvine, CA. January 31, 2003 Roland DGA Corporation today beefed up its SOLJET Certified Media (SCM) lineup with new 73- and 36-inch rolls of Glossy Banner. It also lowered SOLJET production costs by dropping prices 20 percent on Glossy Adhesive Vinyl and Glossy Banner.

"These new rolls round out Roland's SCM banner offering and offer high-quality mild-solvent output at an excellent value," said Laura Wilson, Roland Product Manager. "For sign makers who print durable outdoor graphics, this price reduction dramatically lowers their production costs."

Roland specially develops all SCM products to yield optimal results when printing with Roland SOL INK - the unique, low-volatile solvent-based ink used by SOLJET and SOLJET Pro II printers and printer/cutters.

Premium Solvent Glossy Banner (SCM-SPVCB) is a high-quality 14 mil glossy scrim vinyl. It offers a waterproof solution for printing outdoor graphics and can be hemmed and grommeted. SCM-SPVCB has a reduced list price on 73" x 49' roll, 50" x 66' roll, 36" x 49' roll and 50" x 8' sample roll.

Glossy Adhesive Vinyl (SCM-SPVCG) is a high quality; 3-mil glossy adhesive-back vinyl designed for a variety of graphics applications. It images nicely in numerous print modes and has a semi-permanent adhesive. While not conformable to rivets and irregular curves or indentations, it is durable both laminated and unlaminated.
