Onyx Graphics Wins in Three DIMA Award Categories

Midvale, UT, March 31, 2003 -- Onyx Graphics continues its tradition of excellence by capturing three wins in the Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) Digital Printer Shoot-Out Awards presented during the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) 2003 Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 2-5, 2003.

Trade attendees of the PMA 2003 Convention and Trade Show voted on the entries based on overall quality of the digital print. In each category, a printer, RIP and substrate share in the award. Onyx Graphics participated in the following wins:

Ink Jet Printer, 18² to 35² Wide: Onyx PosterShop® software was used to drive the Epson Stylus Pro 7600 printer, using Fuji Hunt Glossy Photo Paper.

Ink Jet Printer, 36² to 49² Wide: Ilford RIPStar ProductionHouse software, a private-label OEM version of Onyx ProductionHouse software, was used to drive the Epson Stylus Pro 9600 printer using Ilford Ilfojet Instant Dry Satin media.

Creative Application, Alternative Substrate: Onyx PosterShop was used to drive the Océ Arizona T220 flatbed ink jet printer, which printed onto a chest-of-drawers.
