International Sign Expo Ranked as One of the Top 200 National Tradeshows
Alexandria, Va. (May 1, 2003) Tradeshow Week announced this week that the International Sign Association (ISA) International Sign Expo ranked 142 out of the top 200 tradeshows in the nation for 2002.
“This is a tremendous achievement for ISA,” stated ISA President & CEO Dean Garritson. “Through the Expo’s 57 years of existence, ISA’s exhibitors have consistently demonstrated their support. Even in the aftermath of the tragic events of 9/11, the commitment of our exhibitors did not falter. Their unwavering dedication to ISA has resulted in this honor.”
Tradeshow Week 200 is the culmination of a year-long process of compiling and analyzing data on more than 4,700 shows held in the United States during 2002. Shows are ranked by the number of square footage in the exhibit hall and the number of exhibiting companies.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent record-breaking Expo, held April 2-5 in Las Vegas, Nev. Final numbers for that show indicate that 16,903 attendees were able to speak with 541 companies exhibiting in 1,340 exhibit booths and representing 33 countries.
“This is the first time that ISA has been included in this prestigious grouping,” continued Garritson. “But it won’t be our last.”
Over 70 percent of exhibit booth space has been reserved for the 58th International Sign Expo, scheduled for April 14-17, 2004, in Orlando, Fla. “We are enthusiastic that the exhibiting community continues to support ISA and our Expo,” said Garritson. “With nearly three-quarters of booth space already sold, we look forward to another successful event next year.”
