SALEM, NH - May 15, 2003. Allen Datagraph Systems, Inc is pleased to announce the release of its New "i-cutter" brand of material cutting systems and Allen's new DirectCUT™ Windows® Printer Driver. As a leading US manufacturer of cutting solutions for the sign, graphic arts and industrial markets, Allen has developed this new class of cutter to support the ever-expanding media processing requirements of its customers.

Allen i-cutter systems are available in five popular sizes: 24", 30", 36", 48" and 60". DirectCUT is included at no additional charge.

Allen i-cutter Systems: These are intuitive, intelligent and industrious cutting systems. The astounding versatility that has distinguished Allen cutting systems as the professional's choice, are now enhanced with more features and performance values.

The new "i cutters" features include: an New "EZ-Run" user interface with large LCD Display; Two (2) X & Y Slew-Key control centers; Allen's renown Gold Touch™ cutting head w/ 550 grams of cut force; Advanced processing speed of up to 52 inches per second; New "Allen Remote Panel" cutter control software; New comprehensive User's Manual, enhanced classic styling, and Deluxe Cutter Stand.

Allen DirectCUT Windows® Driver: DirectCUT gives Allen cutter owners the ability to cut directly from CorelDRAW®, Adobe Illustrator®, AutoCAD®, and most other Windows based graphics design programs, without requiring additional software purchases. DirectCUT is a complete job process management program allowing the operator to assign: Multiple Copies, Step and Repeat, Space between jobs, Mirror Image, Rotate, Weed Border, Object Sorting and Loop Direction.

Additionally, DirectCUT supports Allen's SmartMark™ option for contour-cut processing of large format prints. DirectCUT is now included at no charge with Allen cutting solutions It is compatible with Windows 2000 or XP operating systems.
