Drytac’s new Protac™ Laminator

(Richmond, VA) Drytac Corporation has introduced a new line of inexpensive 27” and 32” easy-to-use cold roller laminators. Protac™ laminators will process virtually any pressure-sensitive (cold) laminating film or mounting adhesive in single-sided laminating or mounting applications. Designed for simplicity and ease of use, the line was developed as an all round finishing tool for photographs, inkjet output, posters, etc.

The Protac laminator line operates on standard 110 Volts power and is easy to set up and operate. The silicone rubber rollers are fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of films and substrate thicknesses, while a single pinch point roller control ensures that consistent, even pressure is applied across the width of the roller. The machines are equipped with variable speed forward and reverse controls, plus a foot pedal. Processing speeds range from 1.5 to 15 fpm. The in-feed table folds down to save space when not in use.

Protac laminators accept standard 3” (76mm) material cores and are available in 27” (686mm) and 32” (813mm) width formats.
