Dickson Coatings USA, Jet 220 and Jet Tex...Innovative Fabrics
Dickson Media Fabrics has been doing business in the U.S.A via a new division in Atlanta under the name Dickson Coatings USA since March
2003.
This will allow us to provide better service and be more price competitive.
Dickson is the european leader in technical coated fabrics.
Dickson Coatings USA is a member of the Glen Raven Group, NC, USA. We weave and coat fabrics specially designed for the digital printing market and the screen-printing market.
Our know-how and innovative approach allow us to offer a wide inkjetproduct line with:
- Super-wide and narrow width (from 54 inches to 125 inches)
- All applications : Frontlit / Backlit / Blackout / mesh materials
- Excellent high resolution printability
- Backlit with an enhanced translucency
- Fabrics with textile aspect, ecological and flame retardant products
Two main fabrics are really successfull, Jet 220(a safe and ecological fabric) and Jet Tex. These two fabrics provide many advantages to the digital printers...can be considered as INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS.
Jet 220
- Printability:
- High dot gain (intense colour)
- Short drying time (increased printing speed)
- Ink usage equivalent to PVC media (traditional textile use 30% to 50% more ink): less expensive
- Single strike
- No sticking to the heater or in light boxes
- High speed printing without banding
- Low glare: satin textile aspect
- Light weight: One roll is 40 kgs (88 lbs): no back injury when handling
- 3 times lighter than a banner PVC
- Cheaper transport costs
- Easier and faster installation
- Weldability
- Applications: Indoor/Outdoor•Stable: no curling effect
- Eco-friendly: PVC< 5 %
- Good mecanical resistance:
- Same tear strength as the Jet 550
- Flame retardancy test:
- Smoke opacity: Banner PVC / Jet 220
- Without flame: 70 % less in smoke opacity
- With flame: 20 % less in smoke opacity
- Smoke toxicity: Banner PVC / Jet 220
- Hcl: î 85 %
- CO2: î 13 %
- Jet 220 is NFPA 701: a flame retardant product
We are the only company to offer this innovative fabric. Greenpeace recommanded the jet 220.
Jet Tex
Printability :

Available in a 12O’’ width (less welding needed)
