Onyx Graphics Adds Support for Hewlett Packard® Designjet® 120 Series Inkjet Printers
MIDVALE, Utah, July 1, 2003 -- Onyx Graphics today announced it has added support for the HP Designjet 120 Series inkjet printers for all Onyx 5.6.1 Workflow Solutions Software products. The new driver is especially significant for Onyx Proof Prepress Color Proofing Workflow Solution Software, which enables users to generate color-accurate press proofs from supported inkjet printers like this.
The HP Designjet 120 printer accepts sheet media up to 24.6 inches wide. The Onyx driver includes support for the following HP Designjet features:
- Modify attributes associated with a specific resolution
- Four quality modes: Best, Fast, Normal, Superbest
- Media types: Brochure & Flyer 2 Side, Coated, HW Coated, Premium Photo, Proofing Gloss, Semi-Gloss Proofing, and Transparency
- Automatic cutting selection: on or off
The Onyx Proof product includes the following HP DesignJet 120 profiles for dye inks:
- HP Coated Paper (Dye)
- HP Proofing Glossy (Dye)
- HP Proofing Matte (Dye)
- HP Proofing Semigloss (Dye)
Availability
The HP Designjet 120 driver is available to registered licensed users of Onyx 5.6.1 Workflow Solutions Software products. The driver is available at no charge through Onyx’s web site at WWW.ONYXGFX.COM; select DOWNLOADS >> DRIVER AND MEDIA LIBRARY. It is also included in all new packages of Onyx 5.6.1 Workflow Solutions Software products.
