Release of EasySIGN version 4.5 Including revolutionary new color management system!

The challenge of color management for large format output devices is to reproduce colors on a computer screen as they would appear on the final output, a process called ‘soft-proofing’. Consistent color across various displays and types of output is what is offered in EasySIGN 4.5, as close to WYSIWYG as possible!

The EasySIGN CMS maps colors from a device with a large color gamut, like a monitor, to a device with a much smaller color gamut, like a large format printer. The result is that all colors on a monitor represent colors that the output device actually can reproduce. To achieve this optimally you need color profiles (.icc/.icm files) for your monitor and for your output device. These profiles are usually supplied by the manufactures of monitors and output devices and additionally EasySIGN comes with a set of default profiles suitable for most output devices. Better yet, in EasySIGN you can actually change the behavior of your output profile and see the changes immediately displayed on your monitor.

CMYK Red/Blue Color space have been added also in order to extend your printer gamut. CMYK bitmaps can be edited for brightness, contrast and color, in the same way as RGB bitmaps (e.g. “Variations”) as well as the possibility to create a color library from the active worksheet.

More good news as for users of EasySIGN version 4, this update is free of charge.
