SGIA Expo ’03: MACtac® to exhibit at Booth #3215

Stow, Ohio ­ With product lines engineered specifically for the mounting, overlaminating and printing of high-quality graphics, MACtac® has a product to improve any application in the graphics and imaging industry. Visitors to SGIA on Oct. 15-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., will be able to take a closer look at:

• PermaTrans® IP4000 Series: A family of pressure sensitive mounting films that consist of a thin layer of adhesive, IP4000 eliminates the light refraction created by a clear carrier. It is optically clear to prevent image distortion. Its composition makes it ideal for protecting touchscreen and lenticular displays.
• IP9000 Rigid Backer: A polyester rigid backing film for rollable displays, IP9000 features the same no-tunnel adhesive as all MACtac PermaFlex® products, adding stiffness yet allowing tradeshow and display graphics to be rolled and unrolled repeatedly without any signs of tunneling or delaminating.
• IMAGin® JT5000 Series: Designed for digital imaging media, the JT5000 Series is ideal for every inkjet application. Its smooth finish consistently produces high-quality results while the ultra white color allows graphics to pop. This spring, several films in the product line received approval by Encad Inc. ­ A Kodak Company, for use with the VinylJet™ 36, the industry’s first water-based direct-to-vinyl printer.
• MACtac Worldwide Awards ­ 2004: After a successful European run, MACtac is launching the “MACtac Worldwide Awards ­ 2004” on a global scale. The program will single out impressive projects from all over the world that have been produced by companies in, or related to, the sign industry during 2002/2003.
• MACfilm® Family: This variety of rubber and acrylic free films meet a wide range of engineering requirements such as mounting membrane switches, graphic overlays and nameplates.
