SAWGRASS TECHNOLOGIES LICENSES SENSIENT IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES FOR DYE SUBLIMATION INKS

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (September 2, 2003) Sawgrass Technologies, Inc., a pioneering developer of digital transfer inks, has reached an agreement with Sensient Imaging Technologies, Inc. and Sensient Imaging Technologies, S.A., long-time leaders in specialty ink technology, licensing Sensient to offer dye sublimation inks for wide-format digital printing. Sensient will market and sell sublimation transfer dyes and inks for a wide variety of applications to decorate textile and non-textile materials.

Sensient is a leader in sublimation transfer printing for both the conventional and the digital dye sublimation industry. Sensient’s established position in the industry will strengthen the efforts by Sawgrass to expand the digital printing marketplace. The Sensient license is the third dye sublimation ink license announced this year by Sawgrass Technologies.
