Magic® X-Vinyl Offers Quick, Cost-Effective Way to Produce Soft Package Mock-Ups

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass., September 24, 2003 ­ InteliCoat Technologies, a world leader in the manufacture of coated paper, film and specialty substrates for imaging and electronic technologies, today introduced Magic® X-Vinyl, a cast vinyl product designed for the production of soft package mock-ups. Magic X-Vinyl provides brand marketers, consumer goods package designers, and printers an easy and inexpensive way to produce package prototypes for test marketing and presentations.

A 3 mil weldable cast vinyl, Magic X-Vinyl eliminates many of the costly, labor-intensive steps associated with traditional methods of producing soft package mock-ups. Using X-Vinyl, end users simply print images directly on the media using a wide format ink jet printer, then convert the media to finished-looking package prototypes for presentation. X-Vinyl is heat weldable, making it easy to bond edges using a hot iron.
