Calsak Plastics Joins MACtac® Distribution Team

MACtac® Graphic and Distributor recently announced the addition of Calsak Plastics to its distribution team. Beginning in September 2003, Calsak will carry the popular MACmark® line of computer-aided signage (CAS) vinyl.

“We’re proud to add Calsak to our distribution team,” says Bruce Orendorf, MACtac Business Development Manager. “Calsak’s reputation for service and quality sign substrates is a great fit with our diverse line of vinyl products.”

Calsak has six regional distribution centers: Los Angeles, Calif.; San Francisco, Calif.; Atlanta, Ga.; Houston, Tx.; Seattle, Wash.; and Portland, Or. The centers will primarily carry MACmark 8300PRO, a high-gloss intermediate film for computer-aided signage applications. The vinyl is formulated to last up to five years.

8300PRO is part of the complete line of MACmark vinyl that also includes:

• MACmark 9800PRO: a high-performance vinyl designed for applications requiring up to eight years of outdoor life.
• MACmark 9700PRO: a medium-weight film offering excellent light block properties. The vinyl is part of the MACmark series formulated for illuminated signs and window graphics.
• MAClite® 5700: a flexible reflective film providing wide-angle reflectivity of incident light and excellent night and day visibility. Designed for use over complex surfaces for vehicle markings, safety signs and eye-catching decorations.
