Scanvec Amiable Announces the Release of their NEW PhotoPRINT™ Family 4 Line of Products

Philadelphia, PA -- October 13, 2003 ­ Scanvec Amiable is thrilled to release its newest version of professional digital printing and RIP software, “PhotoPRINT™ Family 4.” It is the complete solution to digital Large Format printing, incorporating years of technology advances with an easy-to-use interface that will fit the most demanding of workflows. Specific Innovative features have been added to the PhotoPRINT Family 4 line in the form of an optional module for the Screen Printing Industry. PhotoPRINT Family 4 is based on the highest industry standard in color management and was formulated through user requested enhancements and newly available technologies. The NEW PhotoPRINT Family 4 reflects Scanvec Amiable’s strength and understanding of the digital printing industry’s needs and captures it all with an EASY-TO-USE software solution. The Screen Printing Module available for PhotoPRINT Family 4 gives and answers the needs found within this industry.

The NEW PhotoPRINT Family 4 product line consists of four distinct levels to fit many different workflows. Some of the new features now available in PhotoPRINT Family 4 include: Spot Color Separation Controls, Screen Ink Estimation, Under-Base Controls, Super Shade Quality, Changeable CMS, and a NEW Color Profiling Engine. Each of these features will aid any graphics professional to manage time, reduce waste and increase profits.

PhotoPRINT SE (Special Edition) 4 is made for those looking for an inexpensive entry-level software RIP solution that could be added directly into a graphic designer’s workflow. This entry-level solution works seamlessly with all of the popular design software applications, including Adobe Photoshop® and Illustrator®, QuarkXPress®, Freehand® or CorelDRAW®, and all major CAD/AEC/GIS engineering solutions. PhotoPRINT DX (Design Xtras) 4 is a versatile design, RIP and print solution, which incorporates essential design tools for users requiring powerful image editing and layout features before sending files to RIP, print or RIP, or print and cut. This great multi-use software solution carries the ability of applying plug-in effect filters used in Adobe Photoshop® and Illustrator®, plus the capability of changing the user’s workspace to emulate popular programs to ease the learning curve.

PhotoPRINT SERVER 4 is a robust client-server RIP, specifically designed for networks and/or large production environments with multiple output devices. PhotoPRINT SERVER 4 contains all the necessary productivity tools to output digital prints quickly and accurately, while maximizing the use of media. Many features such as Global Color Remapping, Nesting and Hot Folders are incorporated to help users control and standardize their individual environment. PhotoPRINT SERVER-PRO 4 is the same robust client-server RIP as PhotoPRINT SERVER 4, but with additional capabilities and cost saving features, such as a color calibration and Output ICC creation and editing modules called “ColorPROFILER.” PhotoPRINT SERVER-PRO 4 also combines all the design and editing features found in the PhotoPRINT DX 4 edition in an external application known as PhotoPRINT EDITOR 4. This additional solution comes with strong production features like Templates or Picture Packaging and Serialization, a low-end variable data engine.
