Sawgrass Releases Next Generation Digital Technology

Next generation ink incorporates break-through technology and represents an innovative approach to product development

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC, October 24, 2003 ­ Sawgrass Technologies, the leader in digital transfer technology, today releases the next generation of sublimation ink ­ SubliJet IQTM digital transfer inks. Focusing on Innovation and Quality, these new inks are designed for the true production-printing environment. Product improvements include superior color performance, extended printing capability, and enhanced stability.

SubliJet IQ offers the sublimation industry enhanced color performance on a wide range of substrates. New color profiles and palettes developed specifically for use with SubliJet IQ give end-users optimum output results including the most dense black ever produced from a sublimation ink. Minimal cleanings are required to get started as well as during printing when using SubliJet IQ. These longer, unattended print runs with fewer cleanings will save end-users time and money.

All new systems released from Sawgrass in the future will carry the SubliJet IQ line of digital transfer inks and will be backed by Sawgrass’ PartnerPlus® Program.
