Metal Letter Capabilities at Gemini’s Virginia Location Expanded
Cannon Falls, MN—Gemini Incorporated, a major manufacturer of dimensional letters and plaques is expanding metal letter production in its Farmville, Virginia plant with the addition of in-house anodizing and 58,000-psi water jet cutting technology. Waterjet technology allows intricate cutting to close tolerances with very sharp detail not possible with the older technology of less precise commercially available routers.
Anodizing is the ultimate finish for cut aluminum letters. It is a beautiful finish that is abrasion and weather resistant, won’t crack or peel, is environmentally friendly, cost effective and unaffected by sunlight/UV. Anodized finishes are not just coating, they are a part of the finished aluminum letter. Anodizing is an electro-chemical process that hardens aluminum and allows it to be colorized. We perform our own anodizing employing highly trained craftsmen to ensure your letters within the same order have color consistency.
The addition of the water jet technology in Virginia will decrease shipping times to East Coast customers of this now commonly specified process for cut metal letters and logos. Metal letters and logos are available in ten anodized aluminum finishes, satin or polished aluminum, baked enamel colors, bronze, brass, copper, stainless steel and hot rolled steel.
Gemini Inc. is a major manufacturer of outdoor dimensional letters in metal and plastic, and aluminum, bronze and brass plaques, with plants located in Minnesota, Iowa, Nevada, Texas, Virginia and Ontario.
