GoVision Introduces Mobile Unit Featuring 18 Foot by 32 Foot LED Screen

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas -- GoVision, a leading provider of mobile event video services, announced today that it will be designing, building, operating and managing a new mobile LED unit for Magna Entertainment Corp., named 'GoBigger'. The mobile unit will feature an 18 foot by 32 foot Barco LED screen mounted on a 53 foot trailer. Magna Entertainment Corp. is the largest owner of thoroughbred and standardbred racetracks in North America, based on revenue. GoBigger will be available for rental nationwide May 1 and is already slated to appear at the Breeders' Cup at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie.

GoBigger's screen will have the capability to be raised 18 feet and rotated 360 degrees for optimal display and viewing. The units premier Barco SLite 14 screen, the first SLite to be used in the United States, is custom-built for large-format, outdoor viewing. This will be the first time the SLite 14 will be used on a mobile unit with a wide-screen ratio. The screen's modular design will allow it to be removed and resized for various events and staging.

'The GoBigger unit is the largest mobile unit of its kind in North America, and will bring prestige to events around the country,' said Chris Curtis, GoVision president. 'With the swelling demand for LED technology at all types of events, we're excited to be the first to build and offer a mobile unit of this magnitude, while continuing to provide value for any size of event.'

GoBigger will also feature an onboard generator, built-in sound system, camera package, and a complete, onboard control room, making it completely self-sufficient at any event. The GoBigger unit can run input on the screen from virtually any source, including any pre-recorded or digital format and satellite downloads.

'We're sure that GoBigger will add to the excitement of the live racing and significantly improve our customers' experience at the Breeders' Cup,' said Geoff Fardy, Vice President of Marketing for Magna Entertainment Corporation, which owns Lone Star Park. 'We're in an era where people expect to see screens at sporting events and the GoBigger truck will definitely make an impression at ours and many other events around the country.'

"GoVision has proven, in a very short amount of time, that they have the knowledge and engineering expertise to build state-of-the-art mobile LED units," stated Curt Petty, Director of Sales, Barco Events. "They have perfectly incorporated the abilities of our LED displays into the functionality of their mobile units."
