TIR Launches LightScript™ for the Corporate Identity Market

Vancouver, BC ­ TIR Systems Ltd., a world leader in light enabling technology, is pleased to announce the launch of LightScript™, an illumination solution for channel lettering in signage applications.

Officially launched at the International Sign Association 2004 Tradeshow and Exhibit in Florida, USA (April 15-17), and commercially available thereafter, LightScript is the latest addition to TIR’s Corporate Identity range of products.

Using its technical expertise in Solid State Lighting (SSL), TIR has been able to improve upon the traditional channel letter approach in a number of ways. LightScript incorporates Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) from leading manufacturers as the light source, providing energy efficient, long lasting performance. The LEDs are covered by high performance optics which have a dual function. Not only do they ensure unparalleled visual uniformity, they also provide protection to the LEDs, thereby lengthening their life. In addition, TIR has designed LightScript for maximum flexibility. LightScript’s system approach, with integrated modules of LEDs, means that the product can fit into spaces too small for neon, allowing for optimum functionality inside almost any font or size of letter.
