Sales Growth Drives Executive Team Restructuring at Roland
Irvine, CA -- Roland DGA Corporation recently reorganized its executive management team to accommodate robust sales growth.
“The past few years have been a period of unprecedented growth for us,” said Bob Curtis, Roland DGA President & CEO. “Each and every one of our product lines inkjets, cutters, engravers and 3D devices have experienced record sales. Obviously, we have done some things right as well as enjoyed a lot of good luck. To ensure our continued success in the future, we have made some exciting changes to our executive management team.”
Dave Goward is now Senior Vice President & General Manager. He was previously Roland’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Goward will take on an expanded strategic leadership role for company sales, marketing and services. Goward is in his 10th year with Roland DGA.
“Dave can be credited with developing the sales and marketing programs that are the envy of all our competitors,” said Curtis. “By assuming more of the day-to-day operations management, he will allow me to focus on building a sustainable growth model for the future.”
Bruce Lauper was promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He was previously Roland’s Vice President of Finance/CFO. “Bruce has been with Roland DGA for four years and has been instrumental in improving the company’s profitability,” said Curtis. Lauper completed his Master of Business Administration in 2003.
After making significant contributions as Roland’s Director of Marketing, Brian McLeod has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing for all Roland products. McLeod has been with Roland for eight years and was most recently responsible for the highly successful launches of the EX Series of printers and printer/cutters and VersaCAMM printer/cutters, which use Roland’s revolutionary Eco-SOL INK to print on both coated and uncoated media.
“During a time of increasing competition, Brian’s experience and skill in marketing our products has led to Roland’s expanded market presence and brand equity,” said Curtis. “More than ever, customers and dealers believe that Roland delivers first-class products and service, thereby delivering upon our promise: Built with precision. Backed with passion.”
John White will become Vice President, Distribution & Logistics. White was previously Vice President of Operations. He has been with Roland DGA for 14 years. In his new position, he will work to streamline Roland exporting and distribution procedures.
“John has been with us since the beginning and has taken on many roles over the years as we’ve grown,” said Curtis. “In his new position, he will oversee the processes required to solidify the company’s position as a major importer and distributor and to meet the challenges that fast growth presents.”
